Stress, motivation, calm, connection and joy: five chemical messengers govern everything you feel. KODES is the model I work from in coaching, therapy and talks, and the backbone of my book. The acronym is Danish, the biology is not.

I was born in 1985 and grew up in southern Denmark, in a home with both American and Hungarian roots. Today I live on Als, surrounded by water and forest, where I meditate every day and keep moving with CrossFit and Hyrox. I live by the same philosophy I teach.
My path here has been split evenly between business and communication: an MBA in leadership and communication, co-founding a startup in Miami, some years as a television producer, and since 2011 a certified business coach to more than 100 leaders. In recent years I have gone deep into neuroscience, because one question kept coming back: why don't we do the things we know we should?
